The Interpon 100 series of powder coatings consists of interior paints with both decorative and functional properties. They offer excellent chemical resistance and mechanical performance. Interpon 100 coatings are used for applications such as metal cabinets, sports and recreational equipment, furniture, tools, brass piping, toolboxes, safety equipment, appliances, wires, and automotive components.

The Interpon 700 hybrid series is ideal for various applications, including household appliances, office furniture, metal shelving and racks, lighting fixtures, and more. The Interpon 700 series of powder coatings includes paints designed for interior use.

Interpon 610 is a series of TGIC-free polyester powder coatings designed for outdoor use. This range provides excellent resistance to light and weathering, even while using a single layer of coating on various surfaces.

Interpon 610 powder coatings are available in a full range of shades with glossy, satin, matte, and decorative effects, and can be customised to meet your specific requirements.

Polyester Facade Powder Coatings Interpon D1036 - Building Facade

Qualicoat 1 and Interpon D1036

Interpon D1036 powder coatings are designed for architectural and construction purposes, offering proven durability of at least 40 years. They are primarily used on aluminium and galvanised steel but are suitable wherever an attractive appearance and long-lasting colour are required. These coatings provide standard outdoor durability, excellent gloss and colour retention, and are available in a wide range of shades and effects, meeting standards such as AAMA 2603, BS6496, and BS EN 12206. They are also certified by Qualicoat and GSB.

In summary, these coatings are ideal for residential and small commercial projects. They offer standard durability (tested for 12 months in Florida), a wide range of shades and gloss levels, various textures, and metallic appearances. RAL shades are available in gloss, semi-gloss, and matte finishes.

Polyester Facade Powder Coatings Interpon D2525 - Building Facade

Qualicoat 2 and Interpon D2525

Interpon D2525 is a series of super-durable powder coatings designed for architectural and construction applications. Developed by AkzoNobel as the first of its kind, the Interpon D2525 series is available in a wide range of shades and effects, meeting global standards such as AAMA 2604. Selected products hold Qualicoat Class 2 and GSB certifications. Examples of usage include Park House on Oxford Street in London and Marianas 101 in Dubai.

In summary, these coatings are intended for large and prestigious projects, meeting ‘super-durable’ tests (5 years in Florida), offering a wide range of shades and gloss levels, textured and metallic surfaces, and are stocked in selected RAL shades.

Facade Polyester Powder Coatings Interpon D X-Pro - Building Facade

Interpon D X–Pro

The new Interpon D X–Pro powder coating range features improved scratch resistance, optimised aesthetics, and extended durability for coated objects. Built on the reliable Interpon D platform, the X–Pro technology minimises repairs and provides higher quality, especially for dark shades with
semi-gloss or matte finishes.

In summary, these coatings are available as standard (Interpon D1036) and super-durable (Interpon D2525) polyesters. They offer a wide selection of dark shades in semi-gloss and matte finishes, enhanced resistance to scratches and gloss reduction, and easy maintenance. When applied by a certified coating facility, they come with a project warranty of up to 25 years. Scratch and gloss resistance has been verified using Martindale testing equipment, compliant with CEN-TS 16611 2016. The coatings have passed a 5-year Florida test (AAMA 2604).

Polyurethane

The Interpon 200 series consists of polyurethane powder coatings designed for outdoor use, offering excellent corrosion resistance and flexible properties. Interpon EC is a high-quality polyurethane powder coating designed for excellent resistance to stains and graffiti damage while maintaining an attractive appearance. Interpon EC is available in a range of shades (including as a transparent coating) and can also be customised to meet your specific requirements.

In summary, these coatings offer outstanding resistance to graffiti and chemicals, exceptional smoothness of the surface and uniform layering, high gloss, a wide variety of shades, and full customisation options.

Interpon HT powder coatings confidently compete with established liquid coatings, even for the most demanding applications requiring heat resistance.

Interpon HT is a product line of powder coatings designed for environments requiring heat resistance from 200°C to extremely high temperatures of up to 550°C.

In summary, these coatings are characterised by stable gloss and colour, resistance to delamination, cracking, and corrosion,

Epoxy-Polyester

Hybrid powders, also known as mixed powders, are a combination of epoxy and polyester resins, which combine the benefits of both systems. As a result, they are more weather-resistant than pure epoxy resins and offer higher chemical resistance than pure polyester powder systems.

They are used in various industries, such as furniture manufacturing, engineering, marine interiors, and the food industry. Hybrid powders allow for the creation of different surfaces and gloss levels, with an almost unlimited range of colour options. By combining the appropriate resins, curing can be achieved at temperatures as low as 130°C. Ganzlin hybrid powder coatings are certified for use in marine interiors, dry food applications, and even drinking water.

Polyester powder coatings are characterised by excellent gloss stability and colour consistency, ensuring their resistance to light and weathering. With high UV resistance, they are ideal for outdoor applications. Modern binders and hardener combinations allow curing at 140°C, which saves energy and time, especially for large and heavy parts. When combined with primers, they provide all levels of corrosion protection. Due to their properties, polyester coatings are suitable for use in various industries, including construction, agricultural machinery, facade finishing, and more.

Polyurethane

Polyurethane powder coatings are known for their excellent application properties and outstanding resistance to weather conditions and chemicals. They are ideal for situations where surfaces are exposed to chemicals or are frequently cleaned, such as in railway transport, engineering, fuel stations, or piping systems.

Due to their high chemical resistance, polyurethane coatings are often chosen as protection against graffiti.

Compared to standard polyester coatings, polyurethanes are more expensive, and their application requires more energy, with the curing temperature typically around 200°C.
