The company Lindab can now speed up their production processes with a unique robotic powder paint application system. As a manufacturer of interior HVAC components, the products are very diverse - from simple ducts to complex outlets. The aim of the project was to treat all products on one coating line with the simplest programming system possible. After a series of tests and long-term trials, we developed a world-unique toolchanger for powder coating. On the robotic arm we can have a tool with one gun for easy contouring, or a tool with three guns working as a smart gun mover. To clean the spray booth, a tool carrying a cleaning nozzle can be attached to the robot. These are just a few examples how jobs can be facilitated using the toolchanger system. It can do a lot more!
