TRITON is the leading European manufacturer of server racks and cabinets with its own in-house paint shop, which was operated by 2 employees per shift who were in charge of finishing the interiors of the products. Triton approached us with a requirement to automate the painting process with as simple programming as possible.
After running few tests, a standalone booth had been chosen as the best option to perform robotic pre-spraying. By using CMA GR650 robots with self-learning function, we were able to put the robots into full operation in a short time while increasing the productivity of the line by 30 %.
