DIKRT is a commercial paint shop with a repeating product range. The customer's requirement was to find the most flexible option for robotic painting.
Due to space limitation and dimensions of the products and its position on the conveyor, it was necessary to find a way to paint upside-down. We managed to do this using CMA GR680 robots, which we placed on an overhead track. In order to achieve high productivity and flexibility while adhering to the necessity of frequent colour changes, a NORDSON colour-on-demand system was installed, with which we are able to ensure an automatic color change within 60 seconds.
